To link to a recipe
- You can use a photograph from this website
- Do not use a photograph for a recipe that is not the recipe. For example, do not use a Pork Chops stock photo on my recipe for Pork Chops, or Pork Roast. When it comes to recipes, people see a photo and assume that’s what the dish looks like when finished. It’s unethical to show a dish that isn’t prepared from the recipe it is associated with. I’d rather the transparency, so please use my copyrighted photo when you need a visual associated to my recipe, or make the recipe and take a photo of your results. If you must use a stock photo, make sure it’s relevant but not of an actual dish, so like a Pig Illustration for Pork Chops.
- Please use alt text that describes the photo to visually impaired people and include the phrase “Photo from Food My Kids Will Eat.”
- Please link the photo to the relevant recipe instead of to the site as a whole
- Also please include a text link to the relevant recipe with either a rich keyword or ‘Food My Kids Will Eat.’
